Camp Coker Talent and Resource Survey The maintenenance and improvement of Camp Coker is an ongoing project. We are always finding new work that need to be done or new ideas to improve the camping experience at the Camp. Unfortunately, our Camp Ranger, Nick Newton, doesn't always have the time, training, or materials necessary to get the job done. So many of our Pee Dee Area Scouters have offered to pitch in but we don't always know what skills or resources someone can bring to the cause. Below is a Camp Coker Talent and Resources Survey form. If you would like to offer some help to the betterment of Camp Coker either on a scheduled work weekend or just when your unit is camping, please fill out the form and send it in. You will not be making any specific commitment to help by doing this. It lets us know that if we need specific help, who we might be able to call on. The form is in MS Word format if you want to fill it in online and e-mail it to Nick Newton. It is also in Adobe format for downloading and completing by hand.

Camp Coker Service Projects 2-09 Every year leaders ask what service projects are available to improve and maintain Camp Coker. As you can imagine, keeping a 300 acre camp running and safe takes time, materials, and experience. Our Camp Coker Ranger, Nick Newton developed a list of projects that are available to units and volunteers who wish to put some service hours into the camp. The list includes materials needed to complete the projects. Some are already on-hand at the camp and some would need to be donated or purchased. If you are interested in working on one of these projects, please contact Nick Newton before arriving at Camp Coker to be sure the projects has not been completed already and to see if the materials are available. If you have the ability to donate the materials, it would be greatly appreciated. Nick Newton can be reached at (843) 378-4892.
