About Chicora District Chicora District provides services to Marion and Horry counties. There are over forty Boy Scout and Cub Scout units within the district in addition to over 1200 youth and over 300 volunteers. Roundtable nights are the first Thursday of each month from Program Launch in August to June. Roundtable is held at First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 906 Main Street, in Conway. Roundtable serves as an excellent opportunity for unit leaders to participate in on-going training,be updated on current activites in the district and council, fun program ideas and useful insight into making their pack or troop more successful. The District Training Committee provides initial training for Cub and Boy Scout leaders on a monthly basis. For more information, contact Rusty Horonzy, the Training Committee Chairman at. The district also has a team of commissioners to ensure that your pack or troop runs smoothly. They can help with all things ranging from getting recharters completed to helping you attain the proper training and resources.
