Districts
The Pee Dee Area Council is divided into 4 geographic districts. These districts are tasked with delivering the program, reaching more youth and adults served, raising its share of the money necessary to fund the council's operations, and to provide service to the individual units (packs, troops, crews, posts) within their geographic areas.

Atakwa District serves Dillon, Florence, and Williamsburg Counties.
Chicora District serves Horry and Marion Counties.
Great Northern District serves Chesterfield, Darlington, and Marlboro Counties.
Henry Shelor District serves Clarendon, Lee and Sumter Counties.

Each district has a full time professional staff member called a District Executive who supports the Scouting efforts in their territory. Each district also has a committee of volunteers that provides various types of service and support to the individual units. These services include training, advancement support, membership recruiting, program development, fundraising, and public relations.
